We thoroughly enjoyed working with the students! They were fun, respectful and engaged in the activities.

My experience with the Schooling For Life students was extraordinary. The SFL students are intelligent, creative, and enthusiastic. Imagine walking into a class greeted by students who are EAGER to learn. The students demonstrated
knowledge that sometimes exceeded that possessed by my college students. They also eagerly share this wisdom, improving the quality of the educational experience for all - professor included. In addition, they possess a closeness and sense of camaraderie rarely seen in a classroom. Group activities and experiences were welcomed and embraced. This bond helps create a most productive and enjoyable learning environment. It was a genuine honor to share the joy of learning with them. Prof. Robert Shutt March 6, 2013
The students in Schooling For Life are an absolute joy to work with---committed, curious, cheerful, enthusiastic, and able. A teacher could not ask for more. And the program itself is a model of careful, pains-taking, and imaginative enrichment. It has been both a pleasure and an honor to work with them.

I was extremely impressed with the students ability to grasp the presented material and apply it to the various places that we were fortunate to visit.
They are an extremely bright and motivated group of students who are given amazing opportunites to experience the world and what it has to offer through the Schooling for Life program.

Thank you all from my heart for the wonderful card and for the
notes inside. You made my day/week/etc. And yes I recognized the
constellations! I made a web page of it and the song lyrics at
http://stars.astro.illinois.edu/potato.html both as a keepsake
and to show my kids and g-kids. Teaching you some astronomy
was a treat; your interest, attention, and laughter as you learned
will be an enduring memory for me. Thanks for the opportunity
to share some time with you all and for the card and the song.Best wishes for clear skies, school, the holidays, and beyond.

[My son] and I thought the Fall Session was a lot of fun. He really liked everything. It was hard for him to pick his favorite part, but designing the computer game narrowly won out. He also really enjoyed the cooking classes. I have to say, he’s been motivated to help out in the kitchen ever since. The photography was more enjoyable than he expected also.

Speaking of the best trip . . . [my son] and I just LOVED the downtown tour with Jonathan. That was an especially great day. We have been sharing the pictures that we both took and we are still telling stories about what we saw and what we learned. Using the Gold Line to travel from home to Union Station and back, was icing on the cake. Thank you to SFL for such a great experience!

Well thought through and organized, affordable, high-quality program for gifted kids. It has helped [my daughter] to relax and be herself, to understand no one can or should excel at everything, but that it’s okay to try things even once that she might not be so good at. She looks forward to all SFL courses. She also looks forward to seeing all SFL kids.

SFL has been fantastic for [my son]. He often feels overshadowed by his two over-achieving brothers. SFL has given him a boost of confidence because he learns about super interesting things and has special things to talk about and tricks to show off. He never complains about the drive and looks forward to the classes. He also has really clicked with many of the other students.

FL is a program that allows highly gifted kids to explore activities outside of school settings with other kids like themselves. The activities are academic, creative, and above all social. SFL provides a unique opportunity for highly gifted students to interact, be themselves without having to dial back their brainpower in order to fit in.
